Welcome to blogBOX

Welcome to blogBOX, the new corner of our Denver restaurant where we share the stories, flavors, and faces behind your favorite boxes. Whether you’ve visited us at our East Colfax location or discovered BOXBOX at your latest gathering, we’re so glad you’re here.

This space is where we’ll take you beyond the box — to the ideas, ingredients, and inspiration that make what we do a little bit different. Think of it as a behind-the-scenes pass to our kitchen, our community, and our creative process.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

A Fresh Take on Dining and Gathering

At BOXBOX, we started with a simple idea: good food creates great times, and everything is better when shared.

We wanted to create meals that look beautiful on the table, travel well, and make any gathering — from a casual office lunch to a weekend picnic — feel special. Every salad, dip, and dressing is made right here in Denver, using fresh, seasonal ingredients from local growers whenever possible.

We spend just as much time thinking about the details that go beyond flavor — how the boxes stack perfectly for easy serving, how textures and colors work together, and how every bite feels bright and balanced. It’s the kind of care that turns takeout into something worth gathering around.

What You’ll Find on blogBOX

We know you love what’s inside the box — but there’s so much more to share. On this blog, you’ll find:

  • What’s New in the Store: Updates on seasonal boxes, new flavors, and limited-edition offerings.

  • Behind the Scenes: How we source ingredients, build our menu, and design each BOXBOX experience.

  • Entertaining Tips: Simple ideas for hosting, serving, and pairing that make gatherings effortless.

  • Community Highlights: Stories from our Denver neighbors, local partners, and events that inspire us.

Each post will give you a closer look at the people and purpose behind BOXBOX — and hopefully spark a few ideas for your own table along the way.

Locally Rooted, Community Driven

Denver born and bred

Denver is at the heart of everything we do. From our East Colfax home base to our partnerships with nearby growers and producers, we’re proud to be part of this city’s vibrant food scene.

We believe that eating local is about more than just ingredients — it’s about supporting the people and places that make our community thrive. As we grow, we’ll be featuring local makers, farms, and organizations that inspire us to keep things fresh, sustainable, and creative.

If you have a favorite local product or collaboration idea, we’d love to hear from you. (Seriously — reach out through our Contact page or drop by the shop!)

Gathering Made Easy

At its core, BOXBOX is about connection — friends sharing a meal, teams celebrating a win, families taking a moment to slow down together. We’re here to make that easy.

That’s why every box we create is designed to be shareable, fresh, and flexible. Whether you’re planning a dinner with friends, setting out snacks for the big game, or building a quick office lunch spread, we’ve got you covered.

Keep an eye out for our upcoming posts this fall — we’ll be sharing our favorite seasonal ingredients, a behind-the-scenes look at how we build each box, and entertaining tips for your next gathering.
